Yoga has countless benefts such as helping with high blood pressure, gaining energy, blancing moods, finding the peaceful space in yourself and increasing your immune system.

You'll work at your own pace and see your body and mind changing to reach your ideal state.

It doesn't matter if you are brand new to yoga because each class of stretching, poses, breathing and meditation will stretch you further. Yoga isn't about being a pretzel but about stretching , breathing, and gaining in strength, wisdom and flexibility .

You'll notice you your body is more relaxed yet strong, you'll have more energy, you won't react to situations with lots of negative emotion and so many other nice changes in your life. Each class ends with a meditation and you'll learn how to carry this peaceful awareness into situations at work, at home and driving on I-95. If your mind usually wanders a lot when you meditate, you'll learn how to control it and gain the true fruits of meditation.

There's news stories everyday about people noticing that their heart rate is lower, their concentration is better and their moods are more even with yoga and meditation. Many athletic programs now incorporate yoga into their training. Whether your goals are reducing daily tension, weight loss or finding the peace inside so daily situations don't push your buttons you'll find that yoga works!

ABOUT ME: I'm a licensed social worker as well as a certified yoga teacher and blend my understanding of both of these areas into each lesson and class. I am available for both private lessons as well as classes.
